Springfield Thomas J. O’Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center to hold Open House

Springfield, MA – Mayor Domenic J. Sarno announced today that the City of Springfield Thomas J. O’Connor (TJO) Animal Control and Adoption Center has scheduled two days where they will be holding an open house for those interested in a career opportunity at the center and who have a passion for animals and helping their community.  Residents from Springfield, Holyoke and Chicopee are encouraged to attend and apply as they would meet the residency requirements.  The TJO Center responds to animal services calls 24/7 in Springfield, Holyoke and Chicopee.

The TJO open house is scheduled for today, September 8, 2022 and Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 6:00 to 7:30 pm at their facility at 627 Cottage Street.
