December Message from the President

Good afternoon,

What a great year this has been for the Springfield Regional Chamber! 2023 was filled with successful events, the addition of vibrant new members, meaningful member visits, and numerous wins that have fortified our community.

Our shared commitment to driving the economic vitality of the Greater Springfield region has been unwavering, and I am genuinely grateful for the dedication and enthusiasm each of you has brought to the table. It’s through your collective efforts that we’ve made it a year to remember.

Our journey continues with two exciting events in January! The Rise and Shine Breakfast on Jan. 11 will shine a light on several social service non-profits. Join us at Bay Path University to hear firsthand from non-profit leaders about their crucial work, providing services to vulnerable community members and making a significant economic impact on our region.

Following that, we have our Government Reception on Jan. 25 at Storrowton Tavern & Carriage House. This annual gathering provides a unique opportunity for business and community leaders to meet and connect with local, state, and federal officials. Stay tuned for more information coming soon!

I encourage each of you to register for these events, explore our full calendar of activities on our website, and consider becoming a sponsor to further contribute to the success of our shared mission. Your active participation ensures that we continue to thrive and strengthen our community.

If you are looking to strengthen your leadership skills and reach new heights in 2024, consider applying to the Springfield Leadership Institute! A partnership between the Springfield Regional Chamber and Western New England University, The Springfield Leadership Institute focuses on developing core management and leadership skills to increase personal and organizational effectiveness. Upon completion of the program, participants are invited to enroll in a free graduate course offered through the College of Business at Western New England University. Applications must be received by Feb. 1.

I want to end by extending my warmest wishes to you and your loved ones this holiday season. May your days be filled with joy, laughter, and moments of reflection on the year’s accomplishments. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, and I am confident that 2024 holds even more wins for our community. Let’s look toward the future with optimism, unity, and a shared commitment to making the Greater Springfield region a great place to live, work, and play! Happy holidays to all.

Warm regards,

Diana Szynal
