Raise a Glass to Support the Springfield Museums at “Cheers!” Wine-Tasting Fundraiser on Nov. 2

Springfield, MA– Make a toast to the first (and best) party of the holiday season: Cheers! An Evening of Art & Wine at the Springfield Museums, which will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, 5:30-8:30pm at the Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Arts. The event, which is the Museums’ only fundraiser, is open to the public; tickets are $125 per person. Click here to purchase.

Food, wine, friends, and fun, in a breathtakingly beautiful setting: What more could you want?

“This is a wine-tasting extravaganza like no other!” said Museums’ President Kay Simpson. “Witty and knowledgeable wine expert Anthony Giglio will take you on a captivating tour around the world in art and wine, while you enjoy delectable edibles amidst our breathtaking art collections. Join us for an unforgettable night at the Museums!”

Guided by the knowledgeable (and funny) sommelier Anthony Giglio, guests will sip curated French and Italian wines that complement the art in the gallery in which they are poured. Inspired Catering will provide hearty and delicious apps, and guests can take a chance at the “Wheelbarrow of Wine” raffle, filled with bottles donated by members of the Museums’ Board of Trustees.

The evening will also live and silent auctions – available only to those who attend in person — with unique art- and wine-inspired items and experiences, including concierge-managed trips to Pebble Beach Golf Course and wine country (you choose the location – domestic or international!); tickets to the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art and Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum; and gorgeous handmade goblets by Josh Simpson Glass, to name just a few.

Cheers to the evening’s sponsors: St Germain Investment Management, Baystate Health, Berkshire Bank, Bulkley Richardson, Cowdery, Murphy & Healy, LLC, Durocher Florist, Freedom Credit Union, Full Power Radio, Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, MassLive, NAI Plotkin, Pullman & Comley, LLC, J.M. O’Brien & Co., The Republican, TSM Design, Kay and John Simpson, Mark Keroack, MD and Ann Errichetti, MD, and Christopher and Jeannine Borowiec.
