MERCEDES-BENZ OF SPRINGFIELD WINS COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD
The Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce awards Mercedes-Benz of Springfield with their Community Service Award.
Amherst, MA, October 22, 2020– The Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce announced on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, that Mercedes-Benz of Springfield was chosen as their Community Service Award recipient. This award honors a business, non-profit, or individual which has benefited the lives of the Amherst Area community through their work and outreach.

Driven By Community
The “Driven By Community” platform officially launched in March, although it has been implemented at the dealership since the doors opened 3 years ago.
Since then, Mercedes-Benz of Springfield has partnered with 250+ local organizations, raised over $20,000 when COVID-19 hit for local businesses, and has hosted numerous fundraising/charity events at the dealership. Most recently, a drive-in movie night with proceeds to go to the Urban League of Springfield to support their mission.

ABOUT MERCEDES-BENZ OF SPRINGFIELD
Mercedes-Benz of Springfield is a full service authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer located at the end of 291, exit 6 on the Massachusetts Turnpike. The 37,000 square foot facility sells and services new and used Mercedes-Benz passenger cars, SUVs, and commercial vehicles (Sprinter and Metris). Built in 2017, the building is state of the art and built with sustainability in mind. We have solar panels on the roof and use waste oil from our vehicles to heat the facility.
