Mary McCarthy: A Beacon of Connection and Community Impact in Springfield 

Meet Mary McCarthy, Director of Marketing & Business Development at Andrew Associates and committed Springfield Regional Chamber Ambassador. Andrew Associates is a direct marketing and advertising firm that works with Fortune 100 companies, non-profits, educational institutions, municipalities, and regional businesses. With over 15 years of active involvement in the Chamber, Mary’s dedication to fostering connections and contributing to the community has made an indelible mark.  

Mary’s decision to become involved with the Springfield Regional Chamber was fueled by a desire to network and forge relationships with regional leaders. For more than a decade and a half, she has played an active role in the Chamber’s activities, contributing significantly to its growth and impact. 

Among the various Chamber events Mary has participated in, the Beacon Hill Summitt has been one of her favorites. Meeting the Massachusetts legislative team and the Governor provided valuable insights into their priorities for the Commonwealth, especially in Western Massachusetts.  

Mary emphasizes the tremendous value of involvement with the Springfield Reginal Chamber. For her, the Chamber provides an excellent platform to meet new people, learn about diverse businesses, and facilitate connections that can open doors to new prospects. She encourages others to join and experience the wealth of opportunities for networking and continuous learning. 

In her free time, Mary enjoys sailing, gardening (even in the winter!), and exploring new destinations with her family. Mary has one dog named Koda, a cat named Jessie, and even a pony named Blackjack. Her favorite spot to vacation is Italy, and she is a big fan of classic movies such as The Wizard of Oz and The Sound of Music.
