Maria Del Carmen Rodriguez on Fostering Change and Community Connection with the Chamber

Meet Maria Del Carmen Rodriguez, a passionate Ambassador of the Springfield Regional Chamber and Development Officer at the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts. As Community Development Officer, Maria focuses on seeking solutions, building connections, and collaborating to have an effective and positive impact where we live. Maria and the Community Foundation work tirelessly to create a place where every person has access, opportunity, and a satisfying quality of life.

Maria has been a part of the Chamber for just over a year, and already she has found a community of like-minded individuals who share a love for serving others. Her favorite Chamber memory came from our 2022 Super 60 event.

“My favorite Chamber event has to be when Michael Connolly of Stand Out Truck shared his humbling story. It isn’t often when the Black and Brown community are highlighted for their achievements and innate ability to give back to the community,” said Maria.

When Maria isn’t busy dedicating time to our region, she enjoys vacationing in Puerto Rico and enjoying delicious meals prepared by her elders. A day off could be spent watching her favorite movie, “An Officer and A Gentleman,” or sharing her gift as a Practitioner of Sound Healing Therapies and Practitioner of Vibrational Therapies.

Maria is a shining example of the impact that an Ambassador can have within the Springfield Regional Chamber. If you’re looking for a platform to drive change, foster connections, and make a difference, consider joining the Chamber and following in her footsteps.

“I would encourage others to join to see how rewarding it truly is. Getting involved with the Chamber has served as a great extension as a philanthropic professional,” said Maria.

Together, we can create a community that thrives on positive transformation and collaboration! Learn more about our Ambassador program and its benefits here.
