Local Banks Winners in New England Banking Choice Awards

Springfield Regional Chamber members Florence Bank, bankESB, Country Bank, PeoplesBank, and TD Bank were among the winners in the 2019 New England Banking Choice Awards. The awards were presented on June 28, at the Bank Best Expo at MGM Springfield.

Florence Bank received two first-place awards for customer service and overall quality, and a second place honor for excellence in technology and tools, while PeoplesBank came out on top for excellence in technology and tools and received a third-place award for customer service. TD Bank placed third in the technology and tools category.

Country Bank received the second-place award in customer service and bankESB came in second for overall quality.

The Banking Choice Awards recognize the banks that receive the highest ratings from their own customers in four categories: customer service; technology; community contribution; and overall quality.  Awards were given to the top three institutions in each category from each region in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
