Attorney Michele J. Feinstein selected to the 2022 Massachusetts Super Lawyers® list

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Regional law firm, Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, P.C., which serves clients throughout western New England and New York as well as nationally and internationally, today announced Attorney Michele J. Feinstein, a shareholder of the firm, was selected to the 2022 Massachusetts Super Lawyers® list for the 16th time in the field of estate planning and probate.

A lifelong resident of Longmeadow, Attorney Feinstein concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning and administration, elder law, probate litigation, health law, corporate and business planning. She is a cum laude graduate of Western New England University School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review and where she is currently a Senior Adjunct Professor of Estate Planning and Elder Law. Prior to law school, she earned her Bachelor of Science summa cum laude and later a Master of Laws in taxation, both from Boston University.

Attorney Feinstein is a valuable community resource for legal expertise and a frequent lecturer throughout the Pioneer Valley for organizations that include the Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education and numerous other civic and professional associations on business, health law and estate planning topics. She was recently certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP) by the National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC). In 2014, she was the only attorney from western Massachusetts to earn the distinction of Top Women of Law, a prestigious list of elite female legal professionals by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly.

Attorney Feinstein maintains active memberships in the Hampden County and Massachusetts Bar Associations, American Health Lawyers Association and National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. In addition, she serves on numerous professional advisory committees, including the Investment Committee of the Jewish Endowment Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Greater Springfield, the professional advisory committee to Western New England University, and the board of directors for JGS Lifecare.
