Tia Altman on Growing Your Professional Network with the Chamber
Tia Altman is the Administrative Services Manager at Home City Development, Inc. Home City Development, Inc. is a non-profit real estate development company that builds low-moderate income housing, with a special focus on resident-centered mixed-income housing in Western Massachusetts.
After completing our Springfield Leadership Institute, Tia was inspired to get involved with the Chamber. Throughout her years as both a member and an Ambassador, she’s experienced countless networking opportunities and access to tools and resources needed to thrive now and into the future.
“I encourage others to get involved with the Springfield Regional Chamber because it provides businesses with resources, discounts, and relationships that enable them to save money, market their products, and streamline their processes,” said Tia. “It is also a great place to meet like-minded individuals and grow your professional network.”
As an Ambassador, Tia connects with regional leaders, builds her resume and skills, gains valuable volunteer and outreach experience, and receives exclusive positioning as part of the Welcome Committee at events.
Tia said her favorite Chamber events were Outlook 2023 and the Super 60 Luncheon. “These events allowed businesses to learn about trends, meet other members, and engage with the community,” said Tia.
When Tia is not working or dedicating her time to the Chamber, she enjoys serving the community and public with her Mobile Notary Public business, connecting with friends and family, or turning on her favorite movie: The Notebook.
Tia emphasizes that the Chamber is a great way to grow your business and make connections in our region. We are honored to support Tia and Home City Development as they work to improve the lives of others and give back to the Greater Springfield area.
