The Springfield Regional Chamber Presents its 4th Annual Fire & Ice Craft Cocktail Competition

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., May 5, 2022 — The Springfield Regional Chamber (SRC) will host its fourth annual Fire and Ice Craft Cocktail Competition on Wednesday, May 18 from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Springfield Country Club, 1375 Elm Street, West Springfield. The Craft Cocktail Competition, presented by Florence Bank with sponsorship support by Aetna, is the ultimate social and networking event that offers local establishments an opportunity to showcase their expertise and skills. The event will feature local bartenders who will shake and stir creative cocktails with the themes of fire or ice.

Back in-person for the first time since 2019, SRC has a premier lineup of regional restaurants and bars, providing attendees the unique opportunity to sample a variety of themed cocktails, enjoy tastings of food from local restaurants, and listen to live music by Hayden’s Treble while connecting with local business and community leaders.

A tasting of each cocktail, as well as a souvenir tasting glass, is included in the ticket price and guests can vote for their favorite cocktail of the night. The celebration will extend to the outside area of the country club, where weather permitting, guests can enjoy the warmth of a fire pit while sipping on cocktail samplings. The area’s most innovative bartenders will compete for the best cocktail recognition from establishment’s including Springfield’s Dewey’s Jazz Lounge, Nadim’s, the Springfield Country Club, and the recently opened, Jackalope.

Each ticket helps support the year-round work of the Springfield Regional Chamber while also endorsing the delicious craft cocktails made especially by local restaurants and bars – ultimately helping to grow and promote the vitality of the Springfield region.

We’re proud to facilitate a competition that engages the restaurant community, who are actively rebuilding due to the impact of the pandemic, while creating a casual atmosphere for local professionals to connect and unwind while enjoying samples from the region’s best restaurants and bars,” said Nancy Creed, president of the Springfield Regional Chamber.

Tickets are $75 in advance for Chamber members and $85 for general admission in advance and include food, cocktail tastings, souvenir glass and entertainment. For those who do not wish to sample food or drink, a non-sampling ticket is also available for $30. There will be also be a cash bar available and complimentary fire and ice themed hors d’oevres.
