Square One’s Learn & Earn Program Offers Summer Session Paid Career Development Opportunity for Youth Ages 16 – 24

Springfield, MA (May 27, 2021) – Youth ages 16-24 who are currently out of school and looking earn their high school equivalency and/or gain paid work experience are encouraged to contact Square One to learn about the agency’s Learn & Earn program.

 

The Square One Learn & Earn program helps prepare young workers, including parents of young children, for jobs vital to the community. Participants in the Square One program are taught important skills such as:

  • Resume building
  • Interviewing
  • Computer skills
  • Positive communication

Participants in the program receive:

  • Assistance with nationally accredited child care
  • Work-readiness training
  • Paid work experience
  • Job-search support
  • Transportation assistance
  • Ongoing career counseling with an individual career development case manager
