SPRINGFIELD REGIONAL CHAMBER TO PRESENT THIRD ANNUAL ‘FIRE & ICE’ CRAFT COCKTAIL COMPETITION

The third annual “Fire and Ice” craft cocktail competition, featuring local bartenders who will shake and stir creative cocktails with the themes of fire or ice, will be held Thursday, February 20, 2020, from 5:30- 8 p.m. at Springfield Country Club, 1375 Elm Street, West Springfield, presented by the Springfield Regional Chamber and sponsored by Florence Bank and The Republican.

A tasting of each cocktail, as well as a souvenir tasting glass, is included in the ticket price and guests can vote for their favorite fire and ice cocktails. The winning cocktail will be announced that evening. Some of the area’s best bartenders, including those from MGM-Springfield, Springfield Country Club, Nadim’s, BarKaya and Lattitude will compete for the best cocktail.

Food stations will feature small plates with fire and ice themes. Music will be provided by the Bank Notes, sponsored by Westfield Bank.

The party will continue outside, where the fire pit will be lit for guests to enjoy, weather permitting.

Tickets are $50 in advance for Chamber members $60 at the door); $60 for general admission in advance ($70 at the door) and include food, cocktail tastings, souvenir glass and entertainment. There will be a cash bar, which will serve full size versions of select Fire & Ice cocktails.
