A Closer Look at Eastern States Exposition with Springfield Regional Chamber Newest Ambassador Nancy Delson

This month, we turn our attention to Nancy Delson, the dedicated Director of the ESE Fund at the Eastern States Exposition (ESE). ESE  is renowned as the largest agricultural platform in the Northeast. While many know us them as The Big E, their famed 17-day annual event,  they offer a wide variety of events throughout the year. Nancy is dedicated to raising funds that support ESE’s mission, enabling them to provide agricultural, educational,  historical programs, while also preserving their historic campus.

Nancy was inspired to join the Chamber due to its positive impact on numerous individuals, businesses, and organizations in our region. She wanted to be part of this dynamic network. Although relatively new to the Chamber, Nancy has attended its events for several years, and the Eastern States Exposition has been a committed supporter for many years.

“Joining the Chamber is beneficial for both your business and the region. A robust business community, including non-profit organizations, enhances everyone’s quality of life,” Nancy says.

Nancy joined the Chamber to connect with fellow members and build meaningful relationships.  Among the many events she has attended, Outlook remains her favorite. “Outlook stands out as my favorite Chamber event. It gathers a diverse cross-section of the region and is consistently informative and engaging,” she shares.

When Nancy isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their two sons, and their dog. “I love outdoor activities, gardening, and home improvement projects with my family. And I never miss a chance to go to the beach,” she says.
