MCLA Professor Melanie Mowinski to Hold Book Launch Event at Greylock WORKS

NORTH ADAMS, MASS.—Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) Fine Arts Professor Melanie Mowinski will celebrate the publication of her new book, “Collage Your Life: Techniques, Prompts and Inspirations for Creative Self-Expression and Storytelling,” with a launch party Monday, June 27, from 7–9 p.m., at Greylock WORKS in North Adams. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

In “Collage Your Life,” artist Mowinski teaches a variety of core techniques and provides dozens of prompts to jumpstart the creative process and encourage crafters to explore the versatility of collage. Inspiring examples of the author’s work, along with that of other collage artists, are featured throughout.

The launch party is part of Moxy Mondays at Greylock WORKS, a music series hosted by Berkshire Cider Project and Common Folk. Music will be provided by Professor Graziana “DJ Sophistipop” Ramsden and DJ Black Angus. The Break Room, Berkshire Cider Project, and The Distillery will be open for food and drink.
