Mayor Sarno Thanks Eastman Corporation for Donating Vital PPE’s

Springfield, MA – Mayor Domenic J. Sarno continues to give thanks to everyone in our community for stepping up and providing much-needed PPE’s for dedicated City employees.

Representatives from the Eastman Corporation joined with Mayor Sarno at City Hall to donate 5,000 facemasks to the City of Springfield.

Mayor Sarno stated, “I want to thank Eastman Corp. for their continued leadership and generous donation of these vital and much needed masks.  These PPE’s will go immediately to our dedicated city employees so they can continue to do their jobs for our residents and business community.  I am deeply appreciative and thankful to Eastman Corp. and their leadership team for their generosity and compassion as we continue to work together to mitigate the spread of this COVID-19 Coronavirus.”

Joining Mayor Sarno to accept the donation was Chief of Staff Tom Ashe and on behalf of Eastman Corporation who made the donation was Springfield native and Ace Political Consultant Tony Cignoli, Eastman Plant Manager Shawn Pace, and Kristen Allevo and Chris Geoffrion.
