Mayor Sarno Appoints Paul Phaneuf to Springfield Parking Authority Board of Directors

Springfield, MA – Mayor Domenic J. Sarno announced today that he has appointed Paul Phaneuf to the Springfield Parking Authority Board of Directors.

Phaneuf is the owner of St. Pierre-Phaneuf Funeral Chapels and previously served on the City of Springfield’s Civilian Community Police Hearing Board.  He also serves on the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Embalming and Funeral Directing.

Mayor Sarno states, “I want to thank Paul Phaneuf for his continued commitment and dedicated service to our community.  Paul is a well-respected resident and business owner and had served with distinction on our Civilian Community Police Hearing Board.  The Springfield Parking Authority plays an integral role for our downtown, helping to coordinate with the city and our local partners with the planning of major events and managing some of our downtown parking facilities.  I can think of no one better to continue to serve our residents and business community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Springfield Parking Authority as we continue to work together to move our Springfield forward.”
