Mayor Sarno and HHS Commissioner Caulton-Harris Encourages Residents to get their COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster Doses
Springfield, MA – Mayor Domenic J. Sarno and Health and Human Services (HHS) Commissioner Helen Caulton-Harris would like to remind residents that COVID-19 vaccination clinics are standing by to provide the lifesaving vaccine and Booster dose.
There are numerous vaccination clinic locations across the city. Residents can visit the City of Springfield’s website to find the closest COVID-19 vaccine and Booster clinic at www.springfield-ma.gov/cos/covid/covid-19-vaccine-appointment-and-clinics.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has a dedicated website where residents can search for vaccine clinic locations. Residents can visit www.vaxfinder.mass.gov and search for the nearest vaccine clinic location and type of vaccine they want.
Currently, the vaccination clinic at Springfield Technical Community College, 1 Federal Street, Springfield, MA, has appointments readily available for first and second doses and Booster shots.
In addition, the City of Springfield Department of Health and Human Services is hosting a vaccination and Booster clinic at St. Johns Congregational Church, 45 Hancock Street, for eligible residents on the days and hours listed below.

Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

Those interested can again visit the City of Springfield’s vaccination webpage to register for an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome but registration is recommended.
Mayor Sarno states, “I want to encourage everyone to get not only their COVID-19 vaccination shot but their Booster shot too. Again, there is no excuses. Health and Human Services Commissioner Helen Caulton-Harris and I have stood up numerous neighborhood vaccination clinics. Working with our dedicated partners, we have these lifesaving clinics stationed all across our city. Please, get your shot ASAP so that we can increase our vaccination rates and defeat this COVID-19 pandemic once and for all.”
