Legislative Advocacy

Advocating for Business, Driving Regional Growth

The Springfield Regional Chamber is dedicated to supporting businesses by diving deep into the issues that matter most and advocating on behalf of our members so they can focus on what they do best—running and growing their businesses. As the only Chamber in the region with a registered lobbyist on staff, we combine a history of legislative action with hands-on expertise to ensure your business has a seat at the table.

As a member, you gain:

  • Powerful Legislative Advocacy: Influence policies and legislation that impact your business at the local, state, and federal levels.

  • A Seat at the Table: Direct access to decision-makers, community leaders, and policy discussions that shape the region’s business climate.

  • Unparalleled Leadership: Guidance and insight from an organization with decades of experience in business advocacy.

  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded professionals, industry leaders, and potential collaborators.

  • Resources for Growth: Programs, events, and tools designed to help your business thrive in a dynamic marketplace.

By joining the Springfield Regional Chamber, you don’t just gain membership—you gain an advocate, a partner, and a champion for your business success.

2025 Legislative Agenda

The Chamber’s Legislative Agenda ensures that local, state, and federal legislation supports a strong regional business climate and economic growth. We work to create legislation and policies that will support job creation, catalyze economic development, bolster our economic health, capitalize on the diversity of our workforce and our industries, protect the competitiveness of our region and the Commonwealth as a whole, and build a more prosperous future of legislative work.

LEGISLATIVE STEERING COMMITTEE

Our Legislative Steering Committee includes Chamber members incorporated into four subcommittees that perform in-depth research and analysis to identify our priority areas and develop our annual action plan.
