Freedom Credit Union announces Community Shred Day on Saturday, Sept. 18

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.Freedom Credit Union is pleased once again to offer the opportunity for western Massachusetts residents to securely purge unwanted paperwork. In cooperation with PROSHRED® Springfield, Freedom is offering a free Community Shred Day at two of its branches in Springfield and West Springfield.

 

Saturday, September 18

9–10 a.m.

Sixteen Acres, Springfield

11 a.m.–12 p.m.

West Springfield

58 Union Street

 

The public is invited to bring old bills, bank statements, tax returns and other sensitive documents for free, quick and secure on-site shredding.

 

Members and non-members alike may bring up to five file boxes or paper bags (per vehicle) to the events. Masks are not required for those who are vaccinated.
