Country Bank Welcomes Samuel Ortiz, Vice President, Small Business Development
Ware, MA – June 4, 2021 – Country Bank, a full-service financial institution serving central and western Massachusetts, is pleased to announce that Samuel Ortiz has joined their Commercial Lending Division. Ortiz, who resides in West Springfield, has been in the commercial lending industry for 40 years. Ortiz is an experienced business development leader serving Western and Central Massachusetts. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Springfield Technical Community College and has attended various banking and financial programs throughout his career including The School of Finance and Management at Fairfield University. Ortiz is also a Certified Internal Auditor. Prior to joining Country Bank, Samuel worked for Common Capital where he was responsible for all aspects of business loan operations. He also owned his own consulting firm where he provided small business loan underwriting, as a consultant, to the Western Massachusetts Enterprise Fund in Greenfield.
