bankESB Hires Yates as Portfolio Manager

EASTHAMPTON, MASSACHUSETTS, December 2, 2021 — bankESB, with 11 offices throughout Western Massachusetts, recently announced that Rachel M. Yates of Springfield has been hired as portfolio manager. She will be based in the bank’s Northampton St., Easthampton, office.

 

Yates brings nearly 20 years of banking experience to bankESB, joining from Berkshire Bank where she served as assistant vice president, loan review officer, and before that as assistant vice president, commercial credit officer. She earned a master’s degree in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, both from Bay Path University, as well as an associate degree in accounting from Springfield Technical Community College.

 

Yates is active in the community, serving as a member of the board of directors of Chicopee’s Microtek, Inc.  She was formerly the treasurer and a member of the Finance Committee at the Community Music School of Springfield and was a former mentor with the Hampden County Big Brothers/Big Sisters Organization.
